Curiosity killed the old brand (and gave life to something better).

AlphaBEST has a unique take on what after-school education should be. More than just babysitting and homework help, this organization values an ever-shifting curriculum designed to boost curiosity and inspire imagination in children. Problem was: their brand identity didn’t reflect this value. UpperNinety and its creative partners were tapped to bring the AlphaBEST mission and vision to life in all aspects of the brand, so we got to work exploring how we could inject their dedication to wonder into the brand in a way that appeals to three distinct audiences: school administration, parents and children.

Kaplan Early Learning Company is a valued and respected partner in the education of young children throughout the country. They have a thoughtful and insightful take on effective learning techniques, and UpperNinety was asked to help them create a full brand refresh that reflected their new philosophy: learning is play, and play is learning. So we put together something that screams having fun should be taken seriously, and we crafted more than just the new look and feel — we put together an internal campaign to ensure employees didn’t just understand the new philosophy, but saw how they fit into it.

A small sauce company with big aspirations

Y’all Sauce is based in Winston-Salem, NC, and they make some seriously delectable, southern-heritage sauces. So, armed with a great product, but with zero retail presence, UpperNinety partnered with them to see what could be done. Since our partnership began, they’ve found their way into the shelves of seven stores. And with the effort of a fun social campaign, they sold out of their holiday — or y’alliday — gift pack in just a couple weeks.


A major event that shouldn’t be a secret

Hidden in North Carolina is a sporting facility like no other, and it’s only hidden because of its niche audience: track and field enthusiasts. You see, JDL Fast Track is the Southeast’s premiere indoor track and field facility, and every year it hosts the Camel City Elite. This even hosts Olympians, world-record holders and NCAA champions all competing for their piece of more than $75,000 in prize money. So how do we let more people know this event exists? With a hyper-focused social campaign and a compelling, easy-to-digest landing page that performs above industry norms.

a warranty company who’s main product is peace of mind.

One of the largest sellers of warranties for used trucks — the big rigs, not your standard passenger trucks — is National Truck Protection, better known in their world as NTP. UpperNinety created a video for them that explains what NTP offers and how that offering benefits their potential customers. And we did it again in Spanish. Usable for both their website and social posts, NTP is now armed with a valuable tool for customer acquisition.
