We don’t want to be your agency of record.

We just want you to keep coming back.

We can do better than what got us here

the freedom of project-based advertising

Ad budgets fluctuate at every company. A big company may not need something being worked on at all times. Small businesses may only need help getting a website launched or executing a small social campaign. And start-ups have to be extremely cautious with every dollar they spend.

UpperNinety is built to bypass those worries. We don’t rely on defined yearly scopes. Instead, we work project to project, allowing our clients to maximize their marketing dollars at a time that is right for them. And with nearly no overhead, you can be assured that every dollar you spend is going directly toward the work you hired us to create, not high rents or operating costs.

This gives every business, big and small, the opportunity to have a full ad agency behind them as soon as they need one.

We’re not an ad agency.

We’re an idea collective.

Our philosophy

we can do better than what got us here

It’s easy to say advertising agencies are dead — in fact, people say it all the time. But it’s not true. Agencies are as vital now as they were 50 years ago. From print to TV, radio to direct mail, digital to pre-roll and more, great advertising is continuously happening all around us. That said, there is a real need for something smaller than a traditional agency, yet larger than a solitary freelancer. Something that can adapt to today’s ever-changing business landscape while still delivering agency-quality work.

Large clients are tired of being responsible for hiring influxes and devastating layoffs. Small businesses are tired of not being given the time of day because their sporadic needs aren’t worth the effort. Agencies themselves are tired of searching for freelancers who are both highly capable and readily available. Start-ups are tired of knowing they have something great and no funding to properly publicize it. And groups supporting social causes too often find themselves in a setting that lacks collaboration.

UpperNinety was designed to right those wrongs. We’re fixing the agency model by refusing to be an agency at all. We are an idea collective, as dedicated to results as we are to creativity. We fill an advertising gap that has been missing for too long.
